Metro Sling Plus 550 For When You Need The Bare Minimum
I love the concept of a backpack, but do not love the back pain that one can bring. A sling bag can be a good option, but are a little unwieldly at times and I hate how the rope straps dig into your shoulders after awhile. I love the Metro Slingpack 550 because it’s kind of the best of both worlds.
No, you cannot carry books in it, or binders. But, for those of us who like the ability to carry the essentials while toting a bare minimum of weight on our backs, we will definitely love this product.
I love that it’s worn messenger bag style and has lots of pockets to keep your important things close at hand but separated so you don’t have to sift through everything to find that one thing you need (which inevitably has shifted to the very bottom of the bag, necessitating a complete emptying and repacking of all your junk). Am I right? I’m not the only one who has ever had to do this, am I?
I would have loved to have had this when my kids were a little younger and we were doing amusement parks trips, zoo adventures and Disney World excursions. It would have been highly preferable to the back packs and fanny packs… yes, we grudgingly wore thsoe fashion disasters!
Metro Sling Plus 550 folds up small so you can tuck it into your luggage or carry on bag and take it out when you need it. And of course it has a strap similar to a backpack that it adjustable for comfortable wear.
My son is going to love this for his Marching Band competition trips because he’ll be able to carry his cell phone, extra charger, other various electronic stuff, money, ID, cameras, passports, etc. in total comfort.
It’s also good for hikers, bikers, basically anyone who needs a sturdy and lightweight way to carry essentials without the bulkiness or weight of larger bags. The RG anchor provides maximum security and stability with a side-loop caribiner to easily clip to a pant loop and front pocket design for easy accessibility and added security, as it deters pickpockets when you are in crowded areas such as amusement parks, malls, other busy areas.
